Christmas Campaign 2024

If you are part of a larger group or organisation and would like to request multiple cards, please send an email to letter@lettersofhope.care with some information, including the number of cards needed and the best postal address.

Give the gift of hope this festive season to those who need it the most.

We get Christmas Card requests every year from people who are struggling with their mental health, are in need of kind words, and need to know that someone cares.

The festive period can be an extra difficult time for many, including those going through grief and loss, loneliness, financial struggles, difficult relationships and more.

There are 5 simple ways that you can support those doing it tough:

  1. Write a Christmas Card of Hope and mail it to: Letters of Hope, PO Box 92, Varsity Lakes, QLD, 4227, Australia by Friday 6th December 2024. We will direct your card to someone who has requested an uplifting Christmas Card from Letters of Hope. Be sure to download our printable Christmas Stationery if you don’t have any stationery to hand.

  2. Run a Group Activity this festive season by getting your team or community group to write a Christmas Card of Hope using the resources on our Group Volunteering page (click here).

  3. Better yet, turn this into a team building experience and invite Letters of Hope to your workplace or group (in-person or virtually) to run the activity for you, by booking in one of our Letter Writing Retreats. We can bring along the fun Christmas stationery and stickers, and tell your team more about the impact their cards will make.

  4. Donate what you would usually spend on Christmas Cards to Letters of Hope by using the box below - or heading to our Christmas Campaign page - to help us to break the mental health stigma, one letter at a time. Screenshot this page and send it to your loved ones to let them know. Be sure to share our tile on your socials so that your loved ones know that you are supporting a wonderful cause this year:

5. Spread the word by sharing this page so that those who need kind words this festive season know where to request them.

We would like to acknowledge that Christmas is not celebrated by or acknowledged by everyone for a variety of reasons. Please remember that our general Letters of Hope service is available to everyone during this time. You can head to our homepage to request a letter.

Check out the impact we made in 2023!
